Volleyball Recap: Holton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Holton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rossville Bulldogs. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Tinley Wilson paced Holton's offense, picking up seven kills. Wilson got some help from Faith Olberding and her ten assists. Emily Ditzler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Rossville still got an impressive performance from Ady Henry, who had 18 digs. Henry is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Avalon Simpson also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Holton's record now sits at 24-8. As for Rossville, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-11.

Holton has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sabetha on the 11th. As for Rossville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Marysville on the 11th.
