It was a good run, but the Santa Fe Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. Their tough 4-1 defeat to Friendswood might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Santa Fe of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-2. As for Friendswood, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Texas City the next time they take the pitch. Friendswood will host Texas City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Santa Fe will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
