The Portola Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. Everything went their way against Plumas Charter as Portola made off with a  90-68 victory. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  52-32.
 Portola found their leader in underclassman  Connor Sheridan, who  dropped  a double-double on 27 points and 15  rebounds. Sheridan is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: he's  posted at least eight every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Liam Bowling, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  assists.
 Portola has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Plumas Charter, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost five of their last six games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
 Portola will  face off against North Valleys at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. North Valleys presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Portola in their respective states (North Valleys is ranked 65th in Nevada, while Portola is ranked 832nd in California). As for Plumas Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loyalton at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
