After a string of three wins, North Brunswick's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the South Brunswick Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against South Brunswick this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 1st.

North Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for South Brunswick, they moved to 4-9-3 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

North Brunswick and South Brunswick will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Scorpions see the pitch they'll take on Lejeune at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for South Brunswick, their break will end when they face West Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
