Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeastern). They put the hurt on the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers with a sharp 76-52 victory on Friday. The Knights' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeastern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam White, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Vanlandingham, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 18 points.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Alexandria-Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Northeastern won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Union County at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
