Stratford not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Clear Springs Chargers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Stratford won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.

Clear Springs lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lianna Kearns, who had 21 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Stratford's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Clear Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.

Coming up, Stratford will square off against Tompkins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clear Springs, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Friendswood at 6:30 p.m. on September 3.
