A Season-Best Effort from Bryce Hanover Leads Geneva over New Braunfels Christian Academy
On Thursday, Geneva had to settle for second even though Bryce Hanover put up the best numbers he has all season. Hanover threw for 334 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Geneva dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Hanover and Geneva will be playing at home against Hill Country Christian School of Austin on Friday.

On Friday, Hill Country Christian School of Austin got the W thanks in part to Jacob Rasberry playing the best football he has all season. Rasberry threw for 201 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making a tackle.

Sadly, Brady Chandler posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Geneva over New Braunfels Christian Academy on Thursday. Chandler picked up 220 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
