Eau Claire North came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Grantsburg, but Eden Burkman wouldn't allow it. The Pirates won by a set and slipped past the Huskies 2-1 with plenty of help from Burkman, who had 14 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Grantsburg is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Eau Claire North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-17.

Coming up, Grantsburg will be playing at home against Webster at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Claire North, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Somerset on the 4th.
