On Friday Mamou take on Port Barre at 7:00 PM. Mamou come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Mamou suffered a grim 0-27 defeat to St. Edmund last Friday.
Meanwhile, Port Barre were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their match against Opelousas Catholic. Port Barre didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 13-18 to Opelousas Catholic.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
