The Twiggs Academy Trojans won the last time they faced Central Georgia Arts, and things went their way on Friday too. Twiggs Academy walked away with a 36-24 win over Central Georgia Arts.
Twiggs Academy was led to victory by Megan Favors and Mallory Nobles. Favors scored seven points along with seven steals, while Nobles scored 14 points. Favors is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Lavender, who scored five points along with nine rebounds.
Twiggs Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Central Georgia Arts, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twiggs Academy and John Hancock Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Central Georgia Arts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Windsor Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
