Even though the Snowflake Lobos scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, the Winslow Bulldogs still came out on top. Winslow took their matchup against Snowflake 72-64. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Winslow also won the last time the pair played last Saturday.
It was another big night for Isaac David, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Jace Smith was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.
Despite the loss, Snowflake still got an impressive performance from Asher Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Brewer's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carson Lewis, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Winslow's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Snowflake, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Winslow will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Snowflake at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
