After a string of three wins, Parkway South's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They fell  2-0 to the Owensville Dutchmen.
 Kelley Stricker paced Parkway South's offense, picking up eight kills. Stricker got some help from  Sam McHale and her 11 assists.  Marlena Faulstich controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
  Clara Julius was the offensive standout of the  game as she  had 15  digs and one  assist. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's  played.  Riley Grube also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  aces of the season.
Parkway South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Owensville, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4-1.
 Parkway South has already played their next match,  a  3-2  loss against Ladue Horton Watkins on the 16th. As for Owensville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  victory against Malden on the 13th.
