Even though the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, the Show Low Cougars still came out on top. Show Low walked away with a 69-56 win over Blue Ridge. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Show Low.
It was another big night for Preston Power, who scored 31 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Brewer, who scored 11 points.
Show Low has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Show Low will take on Winslow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Winslow is ranked 141st, while Show Low is ranked 116th). As for Blue Ridge, they will head out on the road to take on Snowflake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
