Caney Valley extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley this week by beating Neodesha, 26-6. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Bullpups.
Burlington led the league in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on Eureka.
Neodesha's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Streaks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justice Baird has thrown for 555 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Tycen Hanna has five catches for 202 yards. Jake Crawford leads the league in rushing with 733 yards.
A big matchup in Tri-Valley this week will be when the Wildcats take on Humboldt. Burlington is in fourth place, while the Cubs are in third place.
Cherryvale made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,614 from 13,323. The improvement was the result of 35-6 victory over Erie last week.
