The Hume-Fogg Blue Knights won the last time they faced the Liberty Creek Wolves, and things went their way on Thursday too. Hume-Fogg walked away with a 49-39 victory over Liberty Creek. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hume-Fogg.
Hume-Fogg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Nwoye led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Nwoye's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isiah Ring, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Hume-Fogg's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Liberty Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Hume-Fogg is on the road again on Friday and play against White House at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. White House has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 440 points over their last seven contests. Liberty Creek won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jo Byrns at 1:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Jo Byrns is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
