Marquell Cartwright ran for two touchdowns and
Rontei Wilkes added two as well as
T.W. Andrews (High Point, N.C.) bested
Southwest Edgecombe (Pinetops, N.C.) 43-15 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Red Raiders were up 27-0 at the half.
T.W. Andrews grew its lead to 40 points entering the fourth quarter. TWA scored two times in the third, including once on a Wilkes touchdown run.
With the win the High Point school extended its winning streak to 11 games. T.W. Andrews defeated Trinity 73-14 last week.
The Cougars came in surrendering 17.6 points per game this season. The Red Raiders came into the game allowing 9.5 points per game. The 15 points that Southwest Edgecombe ended with were well above its average of 6.2 coming into the game.
