Grand Blanc put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Powers Catholic Chargers an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 17 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Grand Blanc let Kate Mitchell and Zoey Beard run wild. Mitchell went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI, while Beard went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Beard has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Jacobson, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Grand Blanc was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive games.

Grand Blanc has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Powers Catholic, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
