The Foster Falcons had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against Fulshear by a score of 53-42. The victory was all the more spectacular given Foster's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 661st, while Fulshear is ranked 307th).
Foster got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Freeman out in front who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Freeman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jalen Stephanson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Foster's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-15. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Fulshear, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foster will challenge Randle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fulshear, they will head out on the road to take on Lamar Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
