Green Forest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Compton led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Compton has scored at least 25% of Green Forest's points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Strain, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
Cotter has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Green Forest, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Cotter will be playing at home against Yellville-Summit at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Forest, they will head out on the road to face off against The New School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The New School has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 278 points over their last four games.
