Volleyball Recap: Rolling Meadows Escapes with a Win

Rolling Meadows had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hoffman Estates Hawks.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Rolling Meadows who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-19.

Rolling Meadows has now won four of their last five games on the road. That gives them a 9-3 record this season. As for Hoffman Estates, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's taken a bite out of their 6-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rolling Meadows is set to square off against their familiar foe Conant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hoffman Estates will face off against their in-conference opponent Schaumburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
