The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cristo Rey in their matchups with Richmond Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
James River HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cristo Rey, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
Everything came up roses for James River HomeSchool against Cristo Rey in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 54-19 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for James River HomeSchool since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
