Fans got a thrill when Dalton Stokes and Jason pierre connected against Lake Minneola. The connection was good for 70 yards, the longest such play in 8A District 8 this season.
Vero Beach extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Hawks, 31-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Indians.
