The River Ridge Wildcats lost against the Lena-Winslow Panthers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. River Ridge lost to the Panthers on the road by a decisive 66-50 margin. River Ridge has struggled against the Panthers recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why River Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Seth Nicholas. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Winter, who scored ten points.
River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Lena-Winslow, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-7.
River Ridge will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
