Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Catholic Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. The game between the Catholic Central Crusaders and the Notre Dame Titans didn't end well, with the Catholic Central Crusaders falling 45-31. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Notre Dame, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-5.

Catholic Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame, they will square off against South Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Webster knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Notre Dame likes a good challenge.
