Even though the Parker Braves have not done well against the Sandalwood Saints recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Parker strolled past Sandalwood with points to spare, taking the game 34-20. Parker didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
Parker found their leader in underclassman Tony Kennedy jr, who rushed for 157 yards on only ten carries, and also threw for 168 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Santroy Wilson also helped out as he racked up 118 rushing yards.
Sandalwood's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Demarii Collier, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentaze Andrews, who rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Even if they lost, Sandalwood's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Kameron Mills and his two sacks.
Parker's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Sandalwood, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Parker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sandalwood also has no future games currently scheduled.
