McCloud took the game and then some with a 63-0 win on Thursday over Butte Valley. With McCloud ahead 50-0, the match was all but decided by halftime.
The victory bumped McCloud's record up to 2-0. Butte Valley are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week McCloud take on Westwood at 6:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, McCloud and Westwood will really light up the scoreboard. As for Butte Valley, they will face off against Big Valley. Butte Valley come in off of 3 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
