Softball Recap: Rutherford Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Rutherford never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the North Arlington Vikings 8-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won four games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Rutherford pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for North Arlington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Rutherford will venture away from home to take on Park Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Arlington, they will host Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
