This season hasn't been kind to the Opp Bobcats, who are still winless after their seventh game. They took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Red Level on Monday. Opp lost against Red Level in their previous head to head last Monday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-41 score last time.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cuba Wiggins, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Wiggins set a new season high mark in points with 12. Another player making a difference was Jalisa Smith, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Opp's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Red Level, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Opp won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pleasant Home at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. Pleasant Home is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Red Level, they will head out on the road to face off against W.S. Neal at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
