Benson was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base and an RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
In other pitching news, Patrick Ramon looked comfortable as he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
