West Central will be playing at home against Lennox at at 7:00 PM on Thursday. West Central are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
After constant struggles on the road, West Central have finally found some success away from home. They put a hurting on McCook Central/Montrose to the tune of 49-0. Followers of West Central probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Lennox, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 18-50 punch to the gut against Dakota Valley last Friday. Lennox were down by 12-50 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
West Central's win lifted them to 4-4 while Lennox's defeat dropped them down to 3-5. We'll find out if West Central can add another positive mark to their record or if Lennox can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West Central's step.
