Jason Todd Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Thursday, Mobile Christian had to settle for second even though Jason Todd put up the best numbers he has all season. Todd made 16 total tackles. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.1).
Mobile Christian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Todd and Mobile Christian have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Orange Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Noah Moss Turns in Season-Best Performance
St. Michael Catholic was led to victory by Noah Moss, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Moss rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made a tackle.
St. Michael Catholic's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Moss will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Pensacola on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns from Ezavier Crowell
Jackson was led to victory by Ezavier Crowell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Crowell wasn't messing around, rushing for 191 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The game was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Unfortunately for Orange Beach, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Crowell. When Crowell last faced the Makos back in September of 2023, he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.

Landon Duckworth's Big Game Leads Jackson over Orange Beach
Jackson picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Landon Duckworth. Duckworth was unstoppable, rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 189 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Orange Beach's probably not too fond of Duckworth given he always seems to get the better of them. When Duckworth last faced the Makos back in September of 2023, he threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Big Game from Rivers As St. Michael Catholic Won 45-35
Another St. Michael Catholic player making an appearance on this list is Gunner Rivers. He threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns while completing 94.4% of his passes.
For the year, Rivers has thrown 17 touchdowns while averaging 265.3 passing yards per game.
