Despite the defeat, Pritzker had strong showings from Kalyne Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards, and Dailiany Azcona, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points and four steals. Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Medrano, who posted six points and seven boards.
Even though they lost, Pritzker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Saint Ignatius College Prep, falling 59-37. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Wolfpack are ranked tenth).
Despite the defeat, St. Francis saw an underclassman step up: freshman Alyssa Freeman put up seven points.
