Basic is 7-2 against Sierra Vista since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolves will welcome the Mountain Lions at 3:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Basic had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Spring Valley on Thursday. The Wolves put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 9-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won six in a row.
