Meanwhile, Christ the Cornerstone Academy couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by Antioch Christian Academy at home and fell 55-20.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Mullins Marion Christian's win pushed their record up to 2-0, while Emmanuel Christian's defeat dropped theirs down to 0-2.
