Softball Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Abbeville Christian Academy Generals came up short against the Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks on Friday, falling 16-1. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abbeville Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassie Braddy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Braddy is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Abbeville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Port St. Joe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Abbeville Christian Academy and Port St. Joe will both be playing Jay the next time they take the field. Port St. Joe will head out to face Jay at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Abbeville Christian Academy will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
