The Burroughs Burros were the 52-48 winner over the Serrano Diamondbacks when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Burroughs took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Diamondbacks on Friday.
Burroughs lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dominic Sellers, who scored ten points along with four steals. Jeffrey Brady was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Burroughs has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Serrano, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.
Burroughs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Serrano also has no future games currently scheduled.
