Lumberton has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Hargrave Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lucas Powell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Jaddon Ward, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Hargrave's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Splendora 51-22 at home.
Lumberton's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-3. They've been dominating across those games too: they took their wins by an average of 32 points. As for Hargrave, they made their fans wait, but they finally earned their first win of the season and are now 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Lumberton against Hargrave when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 49-7 win. Will Lumberton repeat their success, or does Hargrave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
