Deerfield won the last time they faced Waukegan and things went their way on Monday too. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Deerfield who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 26-24.

The win got Deerfield back to even at 15-15. As for Waukegan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season.

Deerfield has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Glenbrook South on the 20th. As for Waukegan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Zion-Benton on the 21st.
