Dashon Russell of Pius X ran for the longest rushing play in All-American this season against Carson Long Military Academy last week. Russell ran for 86 yards on the play and finished with 193 on the day as his team topped the Warriors.
Pius X took down Carson Long Military Academy 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Russell ran for 193 yards in the win.
Philip Stambaugh's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tre Jordan threw for 108 and 1 touchdown and Nate Stewart had 107 yards receiving.
Russell provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Royals topped Peter Lasavage's team. Russell's key target this week was Stewart, who caught 2 passes for 107 yards.
Jordan put up the best numbers in passing as Pius X defeated the Warriors.
Thanks to the talents of Jordan and Russell, the Royals have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Jordan is tops in the league in passing with 1,219 yards, while Russell has rushed for 1,004 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Carson Long Military Academy's Lawrence Oden, with 550 yards on 27 catches.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Pius X takes on Columbia Montour Vo-Tech. The Royals are currently in first, while the Rams are in fourth.
Bucktail made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,449 from 14,064. The improvement was largely due to a 32-30 victory over Nativity BVM last week.
