Sullivan has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Sullivan Redskins and the Grayville Bison will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Sullivan beat Armstrong 47-34.
Meanwhile, Grayville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine by a score of 71-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Ty'zae Rowland, who scored 39 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was his 13th in a row with at least ten points. Zach Leavens was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Sullivan's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Grayville, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
