Lakeshore will take on the Fontainebleau Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Lakeshore will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Pope John Paul II, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Lakeshore was the clear victor by a 10-3 margin over Pope John Paul II on Friday. The result was nothing new for Lakeshore, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Annabella Litolff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Aubrey Gaudet was a standout: she scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tannah Willie, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
Lakeshore always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.
Meanwhile, Fontainebleau had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out St. Thomas Aquinas 9-8 on Monday.
Fontainebleau also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Bailey Lagman gave up four earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caroline Stephens, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. McKinley Mardis was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Fontainebleau's victory bumped their record up to 10-18. As for Lakeshore, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lakeshore hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like Fontainebleau struggles in that department as they've averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lakeshore took their victory against Fontainebleau in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 18-2 score. Does Lakeshore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fontainebleau turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
