The Towson Generals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Woodlawn as Towson made off with a 63-43 win. Considering Towson has won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Woodlawn still got an impressive performance from Jordan Harding, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Harding scored a full 32.6% of Woodlawn's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Malayah Reynolds, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Towson pushed their record up to 5-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Woodlawn, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Towson will head out on the road to face off against Owings Mills on Monday. Owings Mills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 264th, while Towson is ranked 88th). As for Woodlawn, they will be playing at home against Lansdowne at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lansdowne is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
