It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dutchtown had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against Decatur by a score of 51-40. Dutchtown hasn't had any issues with Decatur recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quintavious Strozier, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 14 points and six assists. The dominant performance gave Strozier a new career-high in assists. Eli Watkins was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Dutchtown's victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Decatur, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Dutchtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 85-72 win against Sequoyah on the 22nd. Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
