The margin was wide but not a surprise since Blue Valley Southwest are ranked far ahead of Lansing in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Blue Valley Southwest's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Lansing couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. Blue Valley Southwest were outperformed in the second half 9-14 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Blue Valley Southwest are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Aquinas next week at 7:00 PM. Lansing will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Basehor-Linwood at 7:00 PM.
