The Horizon Huskies suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 71-49 walloping at the hands of Williams Field. Horizon was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Williams Field apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Horizon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Craig Rodgers. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hayes, who scored nine points.
Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Williams Field, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
Horizon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Desert Edge at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. One thing working in Desert Edge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 games. Williams Field won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Casteel at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Casteel presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Williams Field in Arizona (Casteel is ranked 14th, while Williams Field is ranked 197th).
