Rhea County had won three straight road games and Mason Ford did his part to make it four on Friday. The Golden Eagles blew past the Loudon Redskins 28-7 for which the team can thank Ford, who rushed for 134 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards.

Rhea County's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Loudon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Rhea County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-6 win against McMinn County on the 24th. As for Loudon, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-17 victory against Signal Mountain on the 24th.
