While losing is never fun, Oswayo Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 720th in Pennsylvania, while Cuba-Rushford is ranked 333rd in New York).
Oswayo Valley bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Cuba-Rushford, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
Oswayo Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Cameron County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cuba-Rushford, they will head out on the road to face off against Houghton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
