Merritt Island Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Nevad, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Nevad is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Angstadt, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Merritt Island Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Florida Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
