Southern Missouri RUSH was down 40-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Southern Missouri RUSH still got an impressive performance from Lillian Mindeman, who scored 20 points. Mindeman hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games.
Southern Missouri RUSH's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Fordland, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Missouri RUSH will take on Greenfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Southern Missouri RUSH's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Greenfield has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Fordland will take on Bradleyville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fordland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bradleyville surely won't give up without a fight.
