Miramonte saw its 14-point halftime lead fall to 12 entering the fourth.
The final score was a stunner, as MHS was ranked No. 351 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for California, far below the Dons' spot at No. 277.

The defeat comes as a step back for Acalanes, which notched a 21-17 victory over Las Lomas in its previous outing. The victory was a step in the right direction for MHS, which was coming off a 35-13 defeat at the hands of Campolindo in its previous game.
In a Diablo Foothill game next week Acalanes (4-2) takes on Dougherty Valley, and Miramonte (3-4) will go up against Dougherty Valley also in a Diablo Foothill game.
